What this blog covers

This blog is for business owners, operations managers and IT leads who are considering having software built, or who are stuck with systems and spreadsheets that no longer fit the way the business works. I cover the questions I hear most often in first conversations: what custom software costs and what drives that number, when an Excel file turns from a tool into a liability, and how an API integration makes your webshop, accounting and stock work from the same data.

Everything here comes from my own work: warehouse management systems, internal tools, integrations with scanners and printers, and data flows between systems that run in production every day. I write in plain language and explain technical terms where they matter, so you can make a well-founded decision, even if you are not a developer yourself.

Have a question about your own situation that is not covered here?
